Mechatronics

Field of study: mechatronics lst DEGREE UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES (taught entirely in Polish or entirely in English)

The graduates of the first level studies in mechatronics have integrated knowledge from various technology fields. During the studies they learn how to use computer aided design tools, process control techniques, and mechanical and materia! engineering methods to design and operatate mechatronic systems such as robots and smart vehicles. The gradua tes can work in interdiscipl inary teams on design projects where the skills and knowledge in mechanical engineering, process control and robotics as well as modern materials and bioengineering are required.

specialization: smart structures
The graduates of the studies in the specialization of smart structures have skills and knowledge to design, implement and operate smart mechatronic structures as well as artificial intelligence and computer systems, which can autonomously notice, analyze and reactto quickly changing external conditions. The graduates can integrate various mechani cal, electronic and control subsystems in order to design, implement and analyze advanced mechatronic structures.

specialization: photonic engineering
This specialization is focused on photonics applications and in particular comprise the principles of operation, construction and integration of optoelectronic devices with mechatronic systems. The graduate acquires the knowledge in the field of optoelectronics, signal processing and optical transmission. Can design and operate mechatronic devices equipped with optoelectronic sensors and optical fiber structures. The graduate is willing to work in interdiscipl inary teams focused on the implementation of optoelectronic systems in measuring devices, medical apparatuses and industrial automation systems.
