Students research clubs

At the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering there are 12 active student research clubs, including:

  • Automation of Industrial Processes Student Research Group;
  • BiomCyberMedic Student Research Group;
  • AUTO-MOTO-CLUB Student Research Group;
  • CNC Masters Student Research Group;
  • Mechanics and Applied Computer Science Student Research Group;
  • Mobile Technology Group Interdepartamental Student Research Group;
  • ORTHOS Student Research Group;
  • Roboticists Student Research Group;
  • Multimedia Techniques Student Research Group;
  • ECO-Energetics Student Research Group;
  • Technology and Biomedical Constructions Student Research Group;
  • eHealth Student Research Group.

Research clubs involve student enthusiasts who are eager to engage in  research projects implemented at the Faculty or work on their own student projects. The students active in research clubs build automobiles, mobile robots, unmanned flying objects, wheelchairs, prostheses and many others under the supervision of experienced tutors. They take part in conferences, exhibitions and fairs. In addition, they present their works in competitions, both in Poland and abroad, often winning high positions and awards.

The activity of research clubs is financially supported by the University authorities, Student Self-Government as well as by individual sponsors from outside the University.
